Today I want to talk about how I see many people feeling stuck because they are doing things they don’t like doing, 5 days a week, 40 hours a week.
I understand that we live in difficult times where just being alive is very expensive, however, we cannot use that as an excuse to remain stuck!
Right before the weekend, I spoke with someone with so much drive and passion, yet feeling stuck because their employer is not supporting their growth.
They mentioned they feel they are wasting the best years of their life.
So, why do they keep working for those people if they don’t feel challenged but feel terribly unvalued instead?
Why are they procrastinating on looking for more meaningful opportunities?
We had a great conversation that hopefully will be that “kick in the butt” they needed to invest time in pursuing a happier career path.
Being stuck negatively impacts your mental health and when your mental health is not on point, you cannot thrive, you cannot exploit your talents, and you cannot walk paths that lead to happiness and well-being.
Make changes. One life. Please remember that: ONE LIFE!
What is the best “kick in the butt” that you’ve ever received and who are you now thanks to that kick?
