David Mendoza

David is a multilingual educator based in Toronto with 10+ years of experience training international students and newcomers to transition smoothly into life in Canada and confidently launch meaningful careers, with a 95%+ success rate. He is also a professor at George Brown College helping students facing employment barriers related to mental health and addiction challenges, and students with mild learning disabilities to get back on their feet. A fierce advocate for experiential learning, David’s professional journey spans from teaching and coaching, to business development, international student recruitment, and educational tourism. He is driven by impactful educational experiences that equip his students with the tools they need to think critically about their life and career choices resulting in increased confidence and self-awareness to materialize their ambitions. Outside the scope of work, David is an avid traveller, a home cook, and a language aficionado. He speaks English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluently, and can communicate in Italian, French, and German.

Urvish Patel

Urvish is a Software Engineer and former international student with robust experience in Web Development, Web Design, Robotics, and Process Automation helping students land high-paying jobs by teaching them the strategies he applied himself to break into Finances & Banking, Retail, and Education, and get promoted in all his roles. Being is a leader among the international student community in Ontario thanks to his role in the Student Association and Career Peer Coach while being a student, sparked his interest to further support the emerging new talent in Canada to succeed in their career endeavours.
Urvish’s exposure to the world of work in top-notch Canadian companies equip him to provide actionable tips on how students and new grads can get their foot in the door in their industries of interest.
Having walked the path that thousands of international students are walking, make him an incredible coach that goes above and beyond to help his students overcome their challenges and aim for roles that do justice to their talent and skill set.
Outside the scope of work, he is a car and cricket aficionado, a great cook, and an advocate of Indian and Gujarati cuisine in Toronto.
